Rahul Gandhi On Odisha Train Accident: The opposition parties are attacking the Modi government regarding the Balasore train accident. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also attacked the central government regarding this. They said, "There is no accountability even after more than 270 deaths. The Modi government cannot run away from taking responsibility for such a painful accident. The Prime Minister should immediately seek the resignation of the Railway Minister."
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has also besieged the Central Government and the Railway Minister regarding the train accident in Balasore. Priyanka Gandhi said, "More than 24 hours have passed since the horrific train accident. Shouldn’t the accountability of the people sitting on top positions be fixed on human and moral grounds? Who is responsible for ignoring the warnings and suggestions of experts, parliamentary committee, CAG report? Whose responsibility will be fixed for the vacant posts in Railways and lack of funds in important areas? Following the moral path of Lal Bahadur Shastri, Nitish Kumar, Madhav Rao Scindia, shouldn’t the Railway Minister resign?"

Congress is raising the demand for resignation of Railway Minister
Earlier, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged that the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister’s ‘campaign to gain’’ Due to which the settlement was done. They said, "‘Recall that Lal Bahadur Shastri resigned after the Ariyalur train accident in November 1956 and Nitish Kumar did the same after the Gasel train accident in August 1999. Now when will Prime Minister Modi ask for the resignation of Railway Minister Vaishnav."
What is the reason for the accident?
On the other hand, now the change in electronic interlocking is believed to be the reason for the painful train accident that happened on Friday (June 2) in Balasore, Odisha. The Railway Minister said that the reason for the accident is related to the point machine and electronic interlocking system required for the signal. Railway Board member Jaya Verma Sinha also said that the accident occurred due to a problem in signalling.
