Agartala Jul 11: Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumder on Tuesday took part in a plantation drive organized by Janakalyan Samiti Club.
The Mayor urged residents of the capital city to keep their surroundings clean and plant trees to maintain the greenery.
Addressing the program, Dipak Majumder said, “On special occasions individuals can come forward and spend their day by planting trees. Not only planting will do, but those must be conserved and protected”.
The tree planting program was also graced by MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, local corporators and other party karyakartas.
