Himachal Monsoon Rain: In Himachal Pradesh, 54 people have lost their lives due to heavy monsoon rains. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has said that the state has not seen such heavy rains in the last 50 years.
He told on Monday (July 10) that Himachal has suffered a loss of about Rs 3,000 crore so far during the monsoon season. Meanwhile, many videos of the havoc caused by the rain have come to the fore.
It is seen in these that Beas river and other rivers are in spate. Somewhere the bridges collapsed due to the flood and somewhere cars and trucks were washed away. There have been many incidents of landslides. Roads have sunk in many places due to rain. A large number of houses have been damaged.
In Kullu, the raging form of Beas river engulfed a truck. The truck went flowing in the river. Its video has surfaced. A local person has made the video, which has been confirmed by the police.

Due to heavy rains in Mandi, the water level of Beas river rose so much that a car was washed away in the strong current of water. Police has confirmed the video.

Many cars were washed away in the flood caused by heavy rains in Kasol area of Kullu. A video of one such car has been shot by a local, which has been confirmed by the police.

PM Modi took update from Himachal CM
Let us inform that in view of the serious situation created due to rains in Himachal Pradesh, on Monday (July 10), Prime Minister Narendra Modi took an update from Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and assured all possible help. At the same time, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have also spoken to Chief Minister Sukhu. Dozens of NDRF teams have been deployed in the state to deal with the disaster situation.
