Woman crossing rail tracks killed after hit by train – aabtak24

Teliamura June 13: A woman in her 60s has died after a train hit her on Tuesday morning in DM Colony area under Teliamura Police Station.

According to sources, the woman identified as Rashbala Sarkar was hit by the Agartala-Dharmanagar bound local train as she tried to cross the railway track.

Family members informed that the deceased was mentally ill since long time.

Railway police and Teliamura police personnel recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy at Teliamura hospital morgue.
