He said, "Justice Mishra is the first judge to reach the Supreme Court after being promoted from the Chhattisgarh High Court. He represents the aspirations of the relatively new state. He reflects the aspirations of the younger generation of the legal profession who may aspire to follow in his footsteps." Regarding Justice Vishwanathan, the CJI said that he has been a role model and guide for the young members of the Bar. The CJI said that he has contributed in building a team of young lawyers.
