Opposition Parties Meeting: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections-2024, a two-day mega meeting of opposition parties against the BJP in Bengaluru ended on Tuesday (July 18). After the meeting, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge told that the next meeting of opposition parties will be held in Mumbai.
Mallikarjun Kharge said that an 11-member committee will also be formed for mutual coordination among the opposition parties. Targeting the BJP, he said that the BJP government wants to destroy democracy and the Constitution. She is misusing autonomous institutions and investigative agencies against the opposition parties.

When Mallikarjun Kharge was asked who would lead the opposition unity, in response Kharge said that everything would be decided only in the next meeting in Mumbai. A committee of 11 members will be constituted for this.

Mallikarjun Kharge said, "NDA is meeting with 30 parties. I have not heard of so many parties in India. Earlier they did not hold any meeting but now they are holding meeting one by one. PM Modi is now scared of opposition parties. We have gathered here to save democracy and the Constitution."
PM Modi accused of suppressing the voice of opposition
Kharge said, "Today the entire media has been captured by PM Modi. No one walks without his signal. In my 52 years of active political career, I have never seen such an unfavorable situation that the voice of opposition leaders is being suppressed."
