Senior Congress leader and former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has also said that the result of 450 seats will be affected if the opposition parties have a common candidate. The same thing was reiterated by Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut. 

What did Arvind Kejriwal say?
Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to the opposition leaders to discuss the Centre’s ordinance in the meeting of non-BJP parties to be held on June 23. And has asked to clarify its stand on the matter. He said that the Center has done an experiment in Delhi by bringing this ordinance. If successful, it will bring a similar ordinance in non-BJP states and take away powers in respect of subjects in the Concurrent List.

In this meeting called by Nitish Kumar, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, CM Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Jharkhand CM Hemant Several opposition leaders including Soren, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav are expected to come.
