Seema Haider Love Story: Uttar Pradesh ATS has ended the investigation in Seema Haider case after two days of questioning. The police suspected that Seema had come to India from Pakistan for the purpose of espionage. Keeping this in mind, Seema Haider was being interrogated. However, the ATS says that no espionage angle has come to the fore in the investigation.
UP ATS will submit its report to the Uttar Pradesh government soon. UP Police will also share this report with other investigative agencies. As of now, the deportation of Seema Haider will take time. The time of deportation will be fixed only after disposal of the FIR lodged against Seema Haider under the Foreign Act.
Prashant Kumar said, not enough, difficult to say anything
UP Special Director General of Police Prashant Kumar said on Wednesday (July 19) that unless there is sufficient evidence, it would not be correct to say that Seema Haider, who came to India illegally, is a spy. Police had interrogated Seema and her Indian boyfriend Sachin Meena on July 17 and 18.
Team not being sent to Nepal, says DGP
Prashant Kumar also said no team is being sent to Nepal to probe how Seema entered India, but when asked whether Seema could be deported, he didn’t give a straight answer.
2 cassettes found near Seema, 4 Mobile phones and passports
On interrogation by the ATS, the state police said that two video cassettes, four mobile phones, 5 Pakistani passports and an unused passport with incomplete name and address and an identity card were recovered from Seema Haider. When asked whether Seema could be a Pakistani spy. Since bail, Seema has been telling the media that she entered India via Nepal and came to Noida in a bus to be with Sachin. Both were identified online while playing PUBG.
