TMC On Governor: Trinamool Congress (TMC) has once again made a big allegation against West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose. TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said that the Governor is a BJP cadre, who only visits the houses of the workers of the saffron party. Ghosh claimed that opposition parties were using Bose to campaign for the July 8 elections.
The Governor is on a tour to meet people affected by the recent violence during the nomination period for the upcoming Panchayat elections. He visited Cooch Behar on Saturday (July 1) and had earlier visited Bhangar and Canning. Only after this Kunal Ghosh took a jibe at him.
‘BJP is using the governor’
Kunal Ghosh said, "The Governor of Bengal is not following Raj Dharma. Opposition parties are using them to campaign for votes. He did not meet or talk to the families of TMC workers who were killed. what should i say CV Anand Bose is a cadre of BJP."
‘must face the black flags’
Kunal Ghosh also warned that wherever the Governor of Bengal goes after the elections, he will be "have to face the black flags", Ghosh’s remarks come just three days after Bose was shown black flags by workers of the Trinamool Chhatra Parishad (TMCP), the student wing of the TMC, when his convoy was going to North Bengal University.
Even before this, Kunal Ghosh has made similar allegations against the governor. He had said, "He (Governor) is behaving like a member of BJP. I respect his position, but if the governor indulges in the words of the opposition, we will strongly oppose him.
