Opposition Meet Postponed: The big meeting of the opposition to be held on June 12 in Bihar’s capital Patna has been postponed. It is believed that now this meeting will be held on June 23. Sources say that Congress and DMK had requested Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to postpone the meeting. However, no official statement has come out so far regarding the reasons behind the change of date.

It is believed that there is a possibility of change in view of the absence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi is currently on a trip to America. Nitish Kumar has been continuously meeting opposition leaders for some time to bring the opposition on a single platform. He had also met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi sometime back.

Nitish Kumar met all opposition leaders

Nitish Kumar has met several leaders including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray to strengthen the unity of opposition parties. In this everyone had said that it is necessary for the opposition parties to come together. For this reason, a meeting will be held soon and a strategy will be chalked out for BJP players to fight together.

Who will attend has not been decided

Actually, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had called a meeting in Patna on June 12 regarding the future strategy of the opposition parties. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh had said about this meeting that his party will go to this meeting but it has not been decided who else will participate in it.
