Tamil Nadu Raj Bhavan issued a statement saying that Minister V Senthil Balaji is facing serious criminal proceedings in several cases of corruption including taking money in exchange for jobs and money laundering. Under these circumstances, the Governor has dismissed him from the Council of Ministers with immediate effect.
The statement further said that Minister Thiru V. Senthil Balaji abusing his position as a minister is influencing the investigation and obstructing the due process of law and justice are.
