Vande Bharat Train Damages: The ambitious Vande Bharat train of Indian Railways has once again been pelted with stones. The latest incident is that of the recently launched Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande in Kadur-Birur section in Karnataka’s Chikkamagaluru district, on which anti-social elements pelted stones on the Bharat Express on Wednesday (July 5) morning.

A railway official told, they have not been able to get any clue in this matter yet. RPF is investigating this matter with the help of CCTV footage. He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Bengaluru-Dharwad Vande Bharat Express train on 27 June.

How many times before this, stones were pelted on Vande Bharat?
Last Saturday (July 01) the same train was also targeted, in which the window panes of the train suffered minor damage. . The incident of stone pelting took place near Devangiri railway station, RPF is still investigating in this matter also. Earlier in Uttarakhand,  Vande Bharat Express going from Delhi to Dehradun was pelted with stones on the night of June 18-19.

These stones were thrown while passing through Nara Jadoda railway station of Meerut-Muzaffarnagar railway track. After this stone pelting, there were serious marks on the glasses of the train. During this, the passengers sitting in the train made a video of it and shared it on social media. Railway told that RPF is investigating on this matter. Earlier, stones were pelted on several trains in West Bengal.
