Indian General Election 2024: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Tuesday (June 20) that he would attend the opposition meeting in Patna on June 23. Stalin said that he would attend the meeting and strengthen the hands of the parties opposing the BJP. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has called a meeting of non-BJP parties on June 23.

On the other hand, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar could not attend this program due to being unwell. Stalin said, "However, Nitish Kumar called me today and expressed regret that he could not attend the inauguration of Kalaignar Kottam. His message was read here."

‘The right time to send BJP home’

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad’s son Tejashwi Yadav reached Tiruchirappalli by a special flight. From here he reached Tiruvarur by helicopter. He was welcomed by Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin. Stalin said in the program that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is the right time to send BJP home for the benefit of the country’s future. He said that the opposition parties were facing a critical situation to protect India’s democracy.

‘Prevent BJP from coming to power again’

The CM appealed to all like-minded secular parties to rally together at the national level and stop the BJP from coming back to power. He alleged that leaving an open field for BJP would be harmful for democracy and Tamil Nadu. We are facing a crisis to protect India’s democracy.
