After the rebellion of Ajit Pawar in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), now there is a war going on between senior and junior Pawar to control the party. On Tuesday (July 4), the third day of the rebellion, a day-long round of meetings went on in Maharashtra. Whereas, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and his NCP colleagues attended the cabinet meeting for the first time after taking oath as ministers.

After the meeting, Ajit Pawar said that there was nothing new. We and Chief Minister Shinde have already worked together in the cabinet. We have experience in cabinetry. Most of them were ministers in that cabinet. On the division of departments, Ajit Pawar said, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will take its decision. He claimed that most of the NCP MLAs are with him.

Congress Legislature Party meeting was held at Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan on Tuesday. Congress’ Maharashtra in-charge HK Patil also participated in this. In this meeting, the post of Leader of Opposition was also discussed. Congress state president Nana Patole said, it is clear that the party which will have the maximum number of MLAs will also have the post of leader of the opposition. We will discuss this with Sharad Pawar.

After the meeting, Nana Patole and other Congress leaders met Sharad Pawar. Patole told that we are planning to tour Maharashtra with Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray.

Today on July 5, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has called a meeting of all NCP MPs, MLAs, district heads and state representatives. On the other hand, Sharad Pawar has also called all the party members to the YV Chavan Center on July 5 itself. Party’s Chief Whip Jitendra Awhad has issued a whip for Sharad Pawar’s meeting, in which all the MLAs have been asked to be present in the meeting. Ajit Pawar has also issued whip for Wednesday’s meeting.
