PM Modi US Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) said on Sunday that the friendship between India and America is a force for the good of the world and it will make the earth better. Modi’s statement came in response to US President Joe Biden’s tweet in which he said that friendship between America and India is most important in the world. PM Modi was on a visit to America from 21 – 23 June at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill Biden. After this the PM left for Egypt.
PM Modi returns to Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi late on Sunday (June 25) night after a 5-day visit to America and Egypt. BJP National President JP Nadda as well as Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi were present to welcome PM Modi on landing at Palam Airport.
On landing at Delhi airport, PM Modi questioned about the developments in India during his foreign trip and asked how is everything here. PTI quoted BJP leader and MP Manoj Tiwari as saying that PM Modi asked Nadda ji how things are going here.
PM Modi’s tour started on June 20
PM Modi left for the first state visit to America on 20 June. During his visit to America, he discussed several issues with President Joe Biden and addressed a joint session of the US Congress. During this, many important agreements were signed between the two countries in the fields of defence, space and trade.
After completing the US tour, PM Modi reached Egypt’s capital Cairo on Saturday. During his two-day visit to Egypt, he met President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Prime Minister Madbouli. Along with this, the PM also visited the historic Al-Hakim Mosque, the Heliopolis War Cemetery and the Pyramids of Giza. President al-Sisi awarded Modi with the ‘Order of the Nile’, Egypt’s highest state honour. This is the 13th highest state honor received by Prime Minister Modi.
