Tirupati Balaji Temple Inaugrated In Jammu: Great news has come to the fore for the devotees across the country. Now along with the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, Lord Tirupati Balaji can also be seen in Jammu. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday (June 8) inaugurated the temple of Tirupati Balaji in Majeen area adjacent to Jammu Katra National Highway in Nagrota, Jammu.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Tirupati Balaji Temple, built at a cost of Rs 30 crore on about 62 acres of land in Shivalik Forest Range in Majin area of Nagrota, Jammu, on Thursday. This temple is about 10 km from Jammu and about 40 km from Katra.
An important role is being considered for the purpose of promotion
This temple is being considered as an important role for the purpose of promoting religious tourism in Jammu. This temple will be a big center of attraction for the devotees going to visit Mata Vaishno Devi from all over the country as well as for the pilgrims coming for Amarnath Yatra and tourists visiting Jammu.
It is noteworthy that this temple of Tirupati Balaji in Jammu is the sixth such temple in the country which has been built on the lines of Tirupati Balaji. Earlier Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has built such temples in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kanyakumari, Delhi and Bhubaneswar in India.
Preventing incidents of conversion as well
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the temple, Union Tourism Minister G. Krishna Riddhi said that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is not only building temples of Tirupati Balaji across the country, Rather it is also stopping the incidents of conversions across the country.
