NDA Leaders Meeting: On completion of 25 years of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), its Silver Jubilee is being celebrated. Regarding this, a big meeting of the constituents of the alliance is being organized in New Delhi on 18th July. So far, invitations have been sent to 19 political parties for the meeting. This meeting, to be chaired by PM Modi, is also being seen as a show of strength before the 2024 elections.

25 years ago in May 1998 the NDA was formed. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a veteran BJP leader, was made its first president. At present BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is its president. Since its formation, about 41 national or state parties have been members of the NDA, including Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC, DMK, National Conference, JDU.

  • India Makkal Kalvi Munnetra Kazhagam
  • AJSU of Jharkhand
  • NCP- Konrad Sangma
  • NDPP of Nagaland
  • SKF of Sikkim
