Council of Ministers Meeting News: PM Modi presided over the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday (July 3). This meeting, which took place amid speculations of a reshuffle in the Union Cabinet, is being considered important. This meeting took place at Pragati Maidan located in Delhi. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and many Union ministers were present in this meeting. 

After this meeting, the Prime Minister tweeted that a meaningful meeting with the Council of Ministers, where we exchanged views on various policy issues. He also shared photos related to the meeting. In this meeting, the roadmap till 2047 was discussed on the completion of 100 years of India’s independence. According to sources, the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was also discussed. 

What did PM Modi say in the meeting?

According to sources, the PM said that we are working in an atmosphere of peace so that we are ready for war. We need to focus on infrastructure. According to sources, PM Modi said that the government has done a lot of development in 9 years. He asked the Council of Ministers to reach out to the people in the next 9 months.

The PM said that all of you should promote the works of your respective ministry fiercely and make a calendar of 12 major achievements and schemes of your respective ministry. A presentation was made on the possible development journey of India till 2047 in the Council of Ministers meeting. Apart from this, the Foreign Secretary also gave a presentation on PM’s foreign tours, in which it was told how the PM’s visits were different from those of his predecessors.

The monsoon session will be held in the old Parliament itself
