Maharashtra Congress Meeting: Shiv Sena and NCP, the two major opposition parties of Maharashtra, have now joined the government along with BJP. Most of the MLAs of both these parties have changed sides and the party is divided into two. In such a situation, now Congress is the only party left, whose clan has not been burgled. Meanwhile, an important meeting of Congress leaders regarding Maharashtra is going to take place in Delhi. National President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will also be present in this meeting to be held on July 11.

Political situation will be discussed
Party sources have told that Congress President Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will discuss the political situation of the state with senior leaders of Maharashtra Congress. During this, there can also be a discussion about the danger hovering over the MLAs. Because for the last few days, the season of exchange of MLAs is going on in Maharashtra. In such a situation, the Congress has also started worrying about the split in the party.

BJP leaders claimed
Maharashtra Congress’s concerns increased when BJP leaders were said to be in contact with the MLAs. After the split in NCP, BJP leaders have claimed that many MLAs of the only opposition Congress are also in touch with them and they may also join the alliance in the coming days. Maharashtra Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar claimed that leaders of Congress and other parties want to join the NDA. He said that many Congress leaders are not happy with their party.

Congress is the largest opposition party
However, Congress has rejected the claim of being in contact with the MLAs. The Congress has said that the BJP has been making such efforts since a long time, but it will not be successful. Congress is trying to get the post of Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra, so if anything goes wrong in the party, it will be a big blow for the Congress in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. At present, the Congress has a total of 44 MLAs in Maharashtra, while the Shiv Sena and the NCP are completely split. In this sense, it has become the biggest opposition party.
