What did Siddaramaiah say on increasing the price of liquor?
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, while presenting his government’s budget in the state assembly, said that the duty on foreign liquor made in India will be increased by up to 20 percent. is being increased. This fee hike will be applicable to all 18 slabs. 

Siddaramaiah, who also holds the charge of the Finance Ministry, also announced in his budget speech to increase the duty on beer from 175 percent to 185 percent. Despite this increase in excise rates, he said in his budget speech, the prices of liquor in our state will remain low as compared to the neighboring states.
