Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the five promises made by the Congress before the elections will all be implemented in this financial year.
The Congress had made these five promises before the assembly elections-
-200 units of free electricity to every household (Griha Jyoti Yojana)
-Two thousand rupees to the female head of every family Monthly assistance of Rs.(Griha Laxmi Yojana)
-10 kg free rice every month to every member of families living below poverty line (Anna Bhagya Yojana)
-18 to 25 years of age for two years 3000 rupees per month to unemployed graduates and 1500 rupees per month to diploma holders (Yuva Nidhi Yojana)
-Free travel facility to women in public buses (Shakti Yojana)
