Wardha RSS leader Pulled From Bus: In Maharashtra’s Wardha district, an incident of assault with an RSS pracharak has come to light. RSS chief Jethanand Rajput of the district was beaten up by the people of the minority community after getting him off the bus. The people first stopped the bus forcibly, then pulled them out by hair and beat them up.
What happened in the bus?
Rajputs were going from Wardha to Hinganghat by bus. A couple was fighting in the bus. Rajput tried to pacify them, but the couple did not like the interference in their quarrel. After which he called his other family members and got the bus stopped at Hinganghat. Along with taking Rajput out of the bus, he thrashed him fiercely. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension spread in the area.
FIR has been registered in the matter
SP Nurul Hasan of Wardha district told that the incident of Hinganghat is condemnable. In the incident, a senior citizen was unnecessarily thrashed. Police has registered an FIR. Also, strict action will be taken against those who assault.
He told that the situation in Hinganghat city is peaceful. The incident was being trolled on social media, so it has been monitored. Along with this, the investigation of the incident is going on. The people who thrashed are from the minority community, as soon as the information about the incident came, tension prevailed in the city.
He told that now the situation is normal. Apart from this, a case has been registered against the accused under sections 326 and 143, 144, 145, 147, 148, 109 of IPC.
