‘I am ready to take help’, HD Kumaraswamy shows warmth towards BJP -aabtak24

Karnataka News: Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Janata Dal Secular (JDS) leader HD Kumaraswamy on Wednesday (July 05) showing warmth towards the BJP, accused the Congress government of corruption. Kumaraswamy said that ‘a new chapter has to be started to rein in the robbers.’

Kumaraswamy, the second number leader in JDS, said that he would support those who join this campaign. A day earlier, Yeddyurappa, a strong Karnataka BJP leader, had supported Kumaraswamy on this allegation. The JDS leader said that the ‘transfer posting business’ continues, in which officers are being charged Rs 30 lakh for continuing in their posts.

Kumaraswamy, continuing his attack on the Siddaramaiah government, told reporters, “Yesterday Yeddyurappa spoke some good words about me. I don’t want to uproot the dead. A new chapter has to be started to rein these robbers.” The JDS termed the Congress government as looters and said that the party was involved in large scale ‘transfer business’ indulges in.

Kumaraswamy said, ‘Whoever wants to support me, I am ready to take his help. I will stand by anyone who comes forward in my campaign to save the resources of this state. 

What did DK Shivakumar say?

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar termed Kumaraswamy’s allegations as baseless. Siddaramaiah said, ‘He is desperate. Therefore, giving such a statement. Whereas Shivakumar said, ‘Kumaraswamy should do his politics. Our duty is to serve the people, which we will do.’
