PM Modi Varanasi Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. During this, he met the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and PM Swanidhi schemes in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Friday (July 07). 

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated / laid the foundation stone of 29 development projects worth Rs 12,110 crore in Kashi. CM Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak were also present.

PM Modi interacted with the beneficiaries 

During a conversation with the beneficiaries related to the scheme, a woman told that her husband had mouth cancer. A month after that, blood cancer also happened. It was not possible to treat them, then they were treated with the Ayushman card prepared by you. Now he is out of danger. 

PM Modi asked the woman how she came to know about the Ayushman card, then the woman told that an Asha worker had told her about it. After going to the camp, we got this card made and they are being treated free of cost.

What did PM Modi say in Varanasi?

In his address during the program, PM Modi said that in the last 9 years, unprecedented work has been done to improve the connectivity of Kashi. The development works being done here are creating many new employment opportunities.

He said that whether it is poor welfare or infrastructure, there is no dearth of budget. The taxpayers are the same, the system is the same, but the government has changed and the intention has changed, so the results are also visible.
