Weather Update: It is raining heavily in July in most of the states of the country. Somewhere there is waterlogging on the roads due to rain and somewhere the river drains are in spate. According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of getting relief from rain in July. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many states including Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka during the next few days.
The spell of rain will continue in Delhi till July 7, due to which there will be no rise in temperature. There is a possibility of thunder with heavy rain in the national capital on Sunday, July 2. The maximum temperature here is expected to be 36 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 25 degree Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in UP. Orange alert has been issued in 14 districts and yellow alert in 34 districts. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in these districts. There is a possibility of light to moderate rains in UP, reducing the intensity of rain from Sunday, July 2. However, heavy rains are expected again in the states from July 4.
Due to heavy rains in Assam, the Brahmaputra river is flowing in spate. In Barpeta, due to the increase in the water level of Brahmaputra, erosion has started, due to which hundreds of people living on the banks of the river are forced to live in the shadow of fear. To avoid the outbreak of flood, now they are going to safe places from home. At the same time, due to rain, all the drains of Mussoorie are in spate. Due to the landslide, debris from the mountain came on the road, due to which many vehicles got stuck.

Due to the incessant rains in Uttarakhand as well, it has become difficult for tourists and devotees to live with the people living in the area. The water level of the rivers in the state is continuously increasing. The incidents of landslides during the monsoon season are troubling. The department has issued orange alert in some places and yellow in some places in Uttarakhand till July 5.
Also heavy rain very likely over parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Konkan-Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka and Kerala-Mahe Is. Thunderstorm very likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
Jharkhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, West Rajasthan, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh may receive scattered rain and thundershowers. At the same time, the maximum temperature is expected to be above 40°C at some places in Rajasthan.
