Delhi Excise Policy Case: On Thursday (July 6) ED has arrested businessman Dinesh Arora in Delhi’s Excise Policy case. In this case, Dinesh Arora is also a witness in the CBI case. According to the news agency PTI, the officials have given this information. According to the ED’s FIR, Arora had met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the excise policy.
ED had earlier said in its charge sheet that Dinesh Arora was allegedly working closely with AAP leader Vijay Nair. Vijay Nair was already arrested by ED, currently he is in judicial custody.
Who is Dinesh Arora?
According to CBI, Dinesh Arora is considered close to Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. Dinesh Arora is a big businessman of Delhi and well known name in restaurant industries. Arora is associated with this industry since 2009. According to reports, in 2009 he opened his first cafe in Delhi’s Hauz Khas area.
Committee member of Restaurant Association
According to the information available on his Instagram profile, he is also the Managing Director of Cheeka Delhi, Unplugged Courtyard and Larocca Aerocity. According to CBI, Dinesh Arora is the director of Radha Industries. Apart from this, Arora is also a committee member of the National Restaurant Association of India. Not only this, in July 2018 Arora also started Eastman Color Restaurant Private Limited Company.
According to the website of NRAI, today there are restaurants of Dinesh Arora in all the big markets of Delhi. Arora also came into limelight when he distributed ration to the needy during the lockdown caused by Kovid. He had converted his house into a packaging unit and from here food was packed and distributed to the poor and needy.
