Actually, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis had recently claimed in a conversation with Republic News Channel that Sharad Pawar had agreed to form the government with BJP in 2019, but then backed down after three-four days. He said that our efforts to form the government started only after discussion with Sharad Pawar. He played a double game. After this Ajit Pawar had no option but to come with us. So we took an oath.

Sharad Pawar is calling this step a political googly.
