Biparjoy Cyclonic Storm: Very-severe cyclonic storm over India for next few days "biperjoy" The danger is looming. It was located over east-central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea till sometime back after which it is moving in northeast direction with a speed of 8 kmph. 

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, as of June 11, it is located 550 km west of Mumbai, 450 km south-southwest of Porbandar, 490 km south-southwest of Devbhoomi Dwarka, 570 km south-southwest of Naliya and 750 km south of Karachi. Is. It is moving rapidly in the northeast direction and will increase its speed by June 14. 

Will hit Gujarat and Karachi by June 15
The maximum effect of this storm will be seen on June 15. By the afternoon of June 15, this storm will reach Saurashtra-Kutch and adjoining Pakistan coasts with wind speed of 150 kmph from the middle of Mandvi (Gujarat) and Karachi (Pakistan). It is expected to cross with sustained surface wind speed of 125-135 kmph.

Talked to Dr. Mrityunjay Mohapatra, Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department on this storm, who told that ‘this morning we have seen this storm as an extremely senior cyclone, it is slowly moving in the north direction. Till 14th, it will continue to move north like this. It will hit Gujarat and Pakistan Karachi by June 15.’

Alert issued in Saurashtra- Kutch areas 
Winds will blow at a speed of 125 to 135 per hour when it hits on June 15.

The Indian Meteorological Department has already issued an alert for fishermen to go to sea. Everyone has been warned especially in Kutch and Saurashtra region to stay away from the sea and the seashore.

In view of the storm, an alert has been issued in Saurashtra-Kutch areas, so that everyone can be kept away from the seashore. In particular, an alert has been issued for the fishermen to take out their boats from the sea and stay away from the seashore  till the storm subsides.
