JKLF and Hurriyat: Police has started cracking down on those conspiring to revive banned organizations like Jammu-Kashmir Liberation Front and Hurriyat. On Tuesday (July 11), 10 people have been arrested in this connection. A total of 55 people have been detained by the police in three days, including many separatist leaders and terrorists. On Sunday also, a meeting of separatist leaders was held in a hotel for the purpose of reactivating the banned organisations. 45 people involved in the meeting have been arrested by the police.

Leaders acting at the behest of Pak handlers

There are many people among them who have previously been involved in spreading separatist propaganda in the state. He also had links with Farooq Siddiqui and Raja Muzafir of JKLF, who ran propaganda in Jammu and Kashmir with the aim of spreading separatism.

Case registered under various sections< The police have registered a case under various sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and Section of the IPC. The court has registered a case under sections 10 and 13 of the section and taken everyone into custody. 

The meeting was also held last month
Police Told that the real purpose of this meeting held on Sunday was to chalk out a strategy to reactivate the banned groups due to allegations of promoting separatism and terrorist activities. One such meeting was also held last month on June 13, in which the arrested people also participated.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mohd Yasin Bhatt, Mohd Rafiq Pehlu, Shams u Jadin, Jehangir Ahmed Bhatt, Khurshid Ahmed Bhatt, Shabir Ahmed Dar, Sajjad Hussain Gul, Firdous Ahmed Shah, Hasan Firdous, Sohail Ahmed Mir   Has happened. 

Hurriyat made distance
On the other hand, Hurriyat has issued a statement distancing itself from this meeting. He issued a statement on Sunday saying that he has nothing to do with this meeting. It was a lunch meeting and it was a private meeting of the people attending it. The organization also said that it has no representatives attending the meeting.
