Monsoon Session 2023: The monsoon session of the Parliament is starting in the country from July 20 and the Congress is busy preparing its strategy for this. In view of this, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh held a press conference regarding the strategy of the Congress in this session. 

Congress will also raise its voice against bringing GST under PMLA i.e. ED in Parliament, not only this, Congress will also raise the issue of rising prices of essential commodities including tomatoes. 

There will be ruckus on Brijbhushan Sharan Singh’s case too
The Congress General Secretary said that we want to discuss some issues in the House. The first issue is Manipur, and we want the situation in Manipur to be discussed in the presence of the Prime Minister. Apart from this, the Congress will also raise the issue of allegations of sexual exploitation by women wrestlers against BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh. Along with this, the Congress will also demand a JPC inquiry into the Adani case.

Congress will support Kejriwal
On the Centre’s ordinance related to the Delhi government, Jairam Ramesh said, Congress has always been against the attack on the Modi government on the federal structure. The question of not opposing it does not arise, that means indirectly it will not oppose the central government’s bill which has been brought by Delhi. 

On which 5 major issues will the Modi government be targeted by the opposition?
 
The monsoon session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is about to begin, Congress will discuss these five major issues will. 

1. The first is the issue of Manipur which needs to be discussed. 

2. Would like to discuss the Balasore incident.

3. The attack on the federal structure is the third issue of the Congress.  

4. Governments elected by the Modi government are being attacked by the Governor. 

5. The independence of constitutional institutions is being curtailed.
