Opposition’s questions regarding CBI investigation
After the major train accident in Odisha, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had announced on the evening of Sunday, June 4, that the Balasore train accident would be investigated by the CBI. Recommended. After this the case was handed over to the CBI. Regarding which the opposition is now attacking. Prior to Jairam Ramesh, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had written a letter to the Prime Minister demanding an inquiry into all aspects of the Balasore train accident to find out the real reasons. In which he had said that the CBI’s investigation revealed ‘technical, institutional and political failures’ responsibility cannot be fixed.

Kharge also said in his letter that CBI is not there to investigate rail accidents, it investigates crimes. Former railway minister Kharge alleged that the government was trying to sabotage any attempt to fix accountability and divert the attention of the people.

Let us tell you that the Coromandel Express in Balasore, Odisha on Friday (June 2) at around 7 pm ‘loop line’ collided with a standing goods train, causing most of the coaches of the Coromandel Express to derail. At the same time, some coaches of the high-speed Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express passing through there collided with the Coromandel Express and derailed. At least 275 people lost their lives.
