Okram Ibobi Singh claimed that KSM N Biren Singh had  admitted on May 21 that there had been security lapses and intelligence failure on the part of the state government . He should be held responsible for the current crisis.  

Opposition leaders urged the Prime Minister to take steps to restore peace, disarmament and ensure harmony. He said that there is no ‘separate administration’ in Manipur. should not happen and the unity and territorial integrity of Manipur should be ensured. 

Let us tell you that on May 3, a ‘Tribal Solidarity March’ Violent clashes had started after the event. So far, about 100 people have died in this violence and more than 300 people have been injured.
