BJP claims Randeep Surjewala attended government meeting, Congress gave this answer -aabtak24

Karnataka Politics: The series of war-counter-war has started between BJP and Congress in Karnataka regarding Randeep Surjewala. BJP has alleged that Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala attended the government meeting. On this, the Congress also retaliated and said that lies are being spread. The BJP has claimed that Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala attended the official meeting of the government and the civic body. The BJP has complained to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot on Wednesday (June 14) and handed over a letter to him. 

What did Chief Minister Siddaramaiah say?
According to news agency PTI, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Surjewala did not attend any official meeting. He spoke to only a few MLAs. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar was present there. Deputy CM Shivakumar attended this meeting. 

BJP made this claim
BJP alleged that Surjewala held an official meeting with senior bureaucrats of the government and the Bengaluru Metropolitan Municipality (BBMP). Speaking to ANI, BJP MLA R Ashok claimed that Randeep Surjewala conducted the meeting. They don’t have rights. These people want to make Karnataka BBMP an ATM for Congress. These people are working on the instructions of 10 Janpath to make the state an ATM. 

BJP on its Twitter handle had shared a picture of the meeting on Tuesday (June 13) in which Surjewala is seen sitting next to Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar, Rakesh Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, Tushar Giri Nath, Chief Commissioner, BBMP and other government officials were present.
