Agartala Jul 05: The newly appointed Tripura Pradesh Congress president Asish Kumar Saha along with Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman met party’s senior leader Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Wednesday.
TPCC in-charge Dr Ajoy Kumar and Szarita Laitphlang also remained present at the occasion.
In his social media handle, MLA Sudip Roy Barman wrote, “A long discussion was held with the party’s national leader Rahul Ghandhi on various organizational issues of the party”.
He also expressed gratitude towards Rahul Gandhi for sparing time for the visit despite his busy schedule.
Notably, this is Asish Kumar Saha’s first meeting with Rahul Gandhi after he was appointed as the party’s state president on June 17, last as he replaced MLA Brijit Singha.
