CJI DY Chandrachud News: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said about the increasing use of technology that today artificial intelligence and software like Chat GPT have made life easier. Today these software are being used for everything from making jokes to coding and even writing legal subjects. He said this about the use of technology and social media at the 60th convocation of IIT Madras.

He said, "Today Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a word that is on everyone’s lips. Through this, it has helped in increasing the capacity of computer software and hardware. Along with this, the use of Chat GPT software has also increased. Its use is being seen from making jokes to coding and writing legal subjects."

CJI said, also pay attention to how technology can help in human development
He also informed that AI is being used on a pilot basis for live streaming of proceedings in the Supreme Court as well. The CJI said that when we are moving towards the future, we should see how science and technology can help in human development. During this, he also cautioned against using technology for wrong purposes and said that it should not create fear in the minds of people by misusing it, otherwise people would not be able to express their views openly. He said that with the development of technology, incidents of online threats, abuse and harassment are also coming to the fore and it is also evident that technology can be used for harmful purposes.
