Karnataka Crime: A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Karnataka. Here 35-year-old T Siddalingappa and his girlfriend Chandrakala committed murders very brutally, after which the police were also surprised. Both are currently lodged in the state jail. It took an investigation to solve the mystery of half-mutilated, headless bodies of women found 24 kilometers apart, after which the truth came to light. Siddalingappa and Chandrakala had planned to kill the five women in a brutal manner. 

Investigation revealed that Siddalingappa did this to please his girlfriend. He told the police that these women met their gruesome end because they had forced his girlfriend into prostitution. Enraged by this, Siddalingappa conspired to kill him in a most brutal manner. 

What is the whole matter?
Actually, on June 8, the mutilated bodies of two women were found at different places near a water canal in Mandya district of Karnataka. The upper part of the dead bodies was cut and the body was cut into different parts. The killers had cut off the upper part of the body of both the women and stuffed the lower part in a gunny bag and thrown it into the canal at two different places. 

K. A mutilated body was found in the Baby Lake canal near Bettanahalli. The other was found in the CDS canal near Arakere village, which falls under Pandavapura town and Arakere police stations in Mandya district, respectively. The killers had tied the legs of the mutilated dead bodies. Locals were shocked by the brutality of the killers and this created a tense situation in the area. 

The killings were done in a very brutal manner
The Superintendent of Police further told that it was not a matter of money. That woman was his girlfriend. Although he had a family, he still lived with her. The women whom he killed had forced him into prostitution. Yatheesh told that Siddalingappa was very sensitive about his girlfriend and he brutally carried out the murders. He said, “We have to be careful to prevent such incidents in future. It was very difficult to identify the dead bodies.  After being identified, the killers were caught within four-five days. The killings were most brutal, we cannot comment further.” 

The police team distributed 10,000 pamphlets in the surrounding areas about the mutilated bodies and ascertained the identity of the murdered women. They formed 9 special teams and 2 technical teams to solve the case. Police verified 1,116 cases of missing women in the state and neighboring states. Police came to know about the double murder when Geeta’s missing case came to light at Chamarajanagar police station. Geeta’s body was cut in half. The police investigated the matter, as there were similarities between Geeta and the recovered half-mutilated body. Police tracked the phone calls made by Geeta and managed to nab the killers. 

The accused confessed during interrogation that they had killed another woman named Kumuda in Bengaluru. They told that they took Kumuda’s body on a bike and threw it somewhere. Police arrested Siddalingappa, a resident of Kodihalli Colony near Kudur town in Ramanagara district, and his girlfriend Chandrakala, a resident of Harvu village near Pandavapura town in Mandya district. The women whose bodies were found half-cut were identified as Parvathy and Chamarajanagar, residents of Hosadurga in Chitradurga district. The resident happened to be Geeta alias Putti. Parvati was killed by the killer duo on May 30 and Geeta on June 3. Their bodies were cut into two pieces as it was difficult for the killers to transport their bodies from home on a bike. Later the bodies were separated. – dumped at different places.
