Heatwave conditions to continue
According to IMD, parts of Bihar, West Bengal, East Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana Heatwave conditions are likely to continue in different parts of the country till June 10. At the same time, heatwave is expected to continue in Uttar Pradesh from June 8. According to the bulletin of the department, scattered rains are expected in Kerala, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days. There is a possibility of light rain with strong wind in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Udaipur, Chittorgarh. Because of which the department has issued a yellow alert in these areas.
Maharashtra, Pune, Mumbai may receive heavy rains during the next two to three days. The department has expected light to moderate rain with thunder in Jalgaon, Nashik, Ahmednagar and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar districts. Light rain is expected in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Madhya Pradesh today.
