Delhi Politics: A case has been registered on charges of tampering with confidential files in the office and record room of the Special Secretary, Vigilance, located at the Secretariat. Delhi Police has registered an FIR on June 1 at the IP State Police Station on the complaint of Rajshekhar, Special Secretary, Vigilance Department. The investigation of the matter has been started. Soon it will be revealed who has tampered with the files.
Delhi Police says that a case has been registered against the unknown under sections 380, 464, 465 and 120B of IPC in the case. In fact, Rajshekhar, Special Secretary, Vigilance Department, had given a complaint to the Delhi Police, Chief Secretary and the Ministry of Home Affairs, saying that Services Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj had removed him from work on a false complaint.
What did Rajasekhar say in the complaint?
In his complaint, Rajasekhar had demanded to preserve the CCTV footage outside the office and to take action by registering an FIR against the concerned people. Delhi government minister Saurabh Bhardwaj is also under investigation in this investigation. However, his name is not included in the FIR. FIR has been registered only against the unknown.
What did Saurabh Bhardwaj say on the FIR?
Delhi’s Service Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has raised questions regarding the FIR against the unknown. He said that the appointment of Vigilance Department Secretary Sudhir Kumar was made by the LG and not by us. He clearly wrote to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar on 16 May 2023 that shadow files (duplicate copy) were made on his instructions. It has nothing to do with the minister of the department, then why false FIR against the unknown?
