Agartala, July 13: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Thursday declared results reviewed by the board for Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations. The board earlier declared the results of both Madhyamik and HS examination on June 5 last.
Addressing a press conference here in the confernece hall of the board office, the TBSE chairman Dr. Bhabatosh Saha informed that a total of 2049 Madhyamik candidates applied for review of their results for 4707 subjects, out of which the results were changed for 811 candidates after the review of their results and that too with no big differences in marks compared to the previous marks declared earlier.
In Higher Secondary a total of 1430 applied for the review of their result for 3078 subjects. Out of this, results were changed for 604 candidates after result review, he told reporters.
He said that most importantly this year after the review of the result a total of 58 candidates were spared from sitting in ‘Bochor Bachao Examination’. They were supposed to seat for the examination as per the earlier result declared, but after the result review they were spared from that.
The Madhyamik examination was conducted from March 16 – April 18 and the Higher Secondary exams were held from March 15- April 19 for the academic year 2022-23.
On the other hand, Dr. Saha invited the applicants for self-inspection of their papers if not satisfied with the review result. He informed that candidates need to pay Rs. 250 for self inspection of their papers and they can also take up multiple subjects for the self inspection.
