PM Modi Call To Amit Shah: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of France these days. During this, he made a phone call to Home Minister Amit Shah. In which he talked about the flood situation in Delhi. Amit Shah informed him about the situation and said that the level of Yamuna will decrease. After this the situation is likely to improve.
According to the news agency PTI, the Home Minister has expressed hope that the water level of Yamuna will decrease in the next 24 hours and the situation in Delhi will be normal. Briefing Prime Minister Modi, the Home Minister said that the NDRF team is helping the people at the ground level.
Giving information in a tweet by the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah on the flood situation in some parts of Delhi due to the rising water level of the Yamuna River. .”

The HMO’s tweet said, “ The Home Minister informed PM Modi that the water level is likely to recede in the next 24 hours and he is closely monitoring the situation along with the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. Sufficient number of NDRF teams are being deployed to carry out rescue and relief operations and help those in need.”

Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that PM Modi called France and inquired about the efforts being made to deal with the waterlogging and flood situation in Delhi. He has given instructions to take appropriate steps in the interest of Delhi by taking all possible help from the Central Government.
