Agartala Jul 03: A good number of job aspirant youths from different areas of the state who have qualified physical and written examination for SSC GD recruitment, approached the chief minister of the state at the civil secretariat here on Monday demanding proper document verification during the ensuing medical tests for completion of the recruitment process.
However, the job aspirants were not able to meet the chief minister and therefore submitted a copy of their demands urging his immediate intervention in the issue.
Speaking to the media persons in this context, one of the job aspirants said, “At least 300 youths have reached Tripura from other state like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and also applied for the SSC GD physical and written exam”.
The youths alleged that those candidates from other states do not possess original PRTC certificate and instead produced fake certificates during the examinations.
Claiming that in such a situation, the original residents of Tripura who have worked hard to clear the written and physical tests will have to lose their seats, the aspiring students demanded proper verification of the documents during ensuing medical tests scheduled to be held on 2nd week of July this year.
“We being original residents of Tripura demand the concerned authorities involved with the recruitment process of SSC GD to properly verify the documents during the ensuing medical tests and also make producing of Voter ID Card and Ration Card mandatory so that outsiders can be barred from grabbing the jobs meant for the state youths”, they said.
The aspirants hoped that the chief minister of the state will consider their request and take necessary action at the earliest.
The medical tests for SSC GD recruitment are scheduled to be held on the 2nd week of July, 2023 at 18 Assam Rifles Center, Kunjaban and 125 BN CRPF Group Center in the state capital.
