Adipurush Controversy: The ongoing controversy regarding Bollywood film Adipurush is not taking the name of ending. Now this matter has reached the Supreme Court. Plea in Supreme Court alleges ‘Adipurush’, a film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, of hurting the sentiments of Hindus and devotees of the deities depicted in the film, also seeks to ban the film with immediate effect Has been. The dialogues of the film have also been mentioned on behalf of the petitioner and said that only ‘Gully Boys’ use such derogatory language.

The petitioner gave this argument
Mamata Rani, who filed a petition in the Supreme Court, has said that the certificate obtained by the Censor Board should be canceled as it violates the Cinematograph Act 1952. There is a violation of the statutory provisions in section 5B of the Act. Arguing in the petition, it has been said that every person of the society trusts the holy books and his feelings are attached to it. A person without his culture and traditions is like a dry leaf fallen from a tree. 

Objection regarding disclaimer too
The petitioner has also objected to the disclaimer of the film ‘Adipurush’. The petition has claimed that ‘misleading’ things have been written in the disclaimer of the film. Apart from this, it has been said in the petition that Lord Shriram and Hanuman have been shown in the film in contrast to their character and characters. The petitioner has also expressed apprehension that by showing God in this way, it will influence people to believe in different morals and ideals. Questions have also been raised regarding the role of Mother Sita in this petition. 

The High Court reprimanded
Before the hearing in the Supreme Court, there was a hearing on this matter in the Allahabad High Court. The High Court issued a notice to the film’s dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir seeking his reply, and also questioned the role of the Censor Board. Criticizing the film, the High Court said that Ramayana is an example for the people, no one understands the way Hanuman and Mother Sita are shown in the film. The High Court has been asked to file a reply in a week.
