Agartala Jun 26: Tripura Tourism and Transport minister Sushanta Choudhury on Monday felicitated 750 meritorious students who passed higher secondary examination for the academic year 2022-23 from different schools under Majlishpur assembly constituency at the Geetanjali Hall in Ranirbazar.
Addressing the students, the minister said, “Youths are the future of the state and country as a whole and will become the cornerstone for building a better state and earn pride of the nation”.
Urging the students to make their best efforts in nation-building, Choudhury said, “Tremendous energy, aspirations, dreams and will power are the important points that are necessary to shine in the future. And above all, students and youths must be responsible citizens at first”.
Congratulating the students for successfully passing their higher secondary examination, Sushanta Choudhury gifted them certificates, flower bouquets, diaries and pens.
“These meritorious students have brought glory to their parents, schools and the entire region across the state. Overcoming many obstacles and adversities, they succeeded in the second biggest test of their lives. This small arrangement of mine today is to celebrate their struggle and share their happiness and wish them good luck for the future”, he said.
“It is my firm belief that the students felicitated in the day’s program will take a firm pledge to be well educated in higher education with new hope and engage in the service of the country and the state as enlightened people”, he added.
The minister further urged the students to engage themselves in extra-curricular activities and sports while refraining themselves from drug addiction.
