Vande Bharat Stone Pelting: Vande Bharat train has once again been pelted with stones. Last night (June 18-19) stones were pelted on the Vande Bharat Express going from Delhi to Dehradun. While passing through the Nara Jadoda railway station of the Meerut-Muzaffarnagar railway track, the train was pelted with stones, in which there were scratch marks on the windshields of the train. Some passengers on the train made a video of this.
ANI quoted the Railways as saying that the stone pelting took place on the E1 coach of the Vande Bharat Express. No one has been injured in the stone pelting. Railway says that the RPF team of Delhi Mandar is working to nab the accused. However, the railway station master of Nara Jadoda is denying the incident of stone pelting.
Train started on May 29
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had virtually flagged off the Vande Bharat Express train running from Dehradun to Delhi’s Anand Vihar station on May 29. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav himself reached Dehradun when the train started.
