JP Nadda to reach Tripura on Friday; party all set for welcome – aabtak24

Agartala June 16: The Tripura unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to offer a warm reception to the party’s chief Jagat Prakash Nadda who is arriving to the state on Friday night to take part in BJPs month-long program owing to PM Narendra Modi’s 9 years in office.

Eyeing the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the party’s national president will take a stock of the state BJP organization apart from addressing a mega gathering in South Tripura districts’ Shantirbazar.

Speaking in this context, State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee said, “Preparations are almost complete and party karyakartas are working hard to make the program successful”.

“JP Nadda will land at Agartala MBB Airport on Friday 8.00pm and on Saturday morning he will meet two prominent personalities of the state and later address a rally at Shantirbazar school grounds at 12.00 pm in the afternoon”, he said.

“The national president of the party will leave Tripura on Saturday itself for Arunachal Pradesh in the afternoon”, he added.

BJP state in-charge Mahesh Sharma and Sambit Patra and Northeast coordinator of the party Phanindranath Sarma have already reached Tripura to attend the rally.

Rajib Bhattacharjee further added that over 35,000 party supporters from Gomati and South Tripura districts are expected to attend the mass gathering.

Friday morning, BJP karyakartas from Barjala assembly constituency were seen putting up flags, banners and posters to welcome the party’s chief.
