Agartala June 14: As a part of Bharatiya Janata Party’s mega outreach program to highlight the achievements of PM Narendra Modi’s nine years in office, the Tripura unit of BJP has planned two mega rallies to be addressed by the party’s top brass.
Addressing the media at the state BJP headquarters here on Wednesday, Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee said BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will address one of the two mega rallies on June 17, next.
“Having received confirmation from the Centre, we are happy to announce that BJP national president JP Nadda shall address a mega rally in South Tripura’s Shantirbazar on June 17, next as a part of Bharatiya Janata Party’s nine years completion under the commendable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, said Bhattacharjee.
He said, “JP Nadda will reach Tripura on the evening hours of June 16 and will meet two prominent citizens of the state under ‘Sampark se Samarthan’ program of the party and later reach Shantirbazar school grounds directly to address the rally at a11.00 am on June 17”,
The national president of the party shall fly back to his next destination on the afternoon of June 17.
Tripura chief minister, all three MPs, Ministers among other dignitaries shall remain present at the mass gathering on June 17.
“We are expecting a gathering of at least 35 thousand people from South and Gomati district of Tripura”, said Rajib Bhattacharjee.
BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee further said that episodial meetings with party representatives including MPs, Ministers, MLAs and others have been held centering the visit of JP Nadda.
