Ludhiana Suicide Case: The body of a government bank manager was found in a suspicious condition on Saturday (June 10) in a house in Amarpura area of Ludhiana, Punjab. The police found the manager’s body hanging from a rope at that time. He was wearing women’s undergarments. Police say that he lived alone and his wife did not live with him, yet women’s clothes were also found in his room.
Punjab Police said that the deceased has been identified as Vinod Masih. The landlord did not open the door even after repeated knocking. After this the landlord informed the police and his body was recovered from the room.
The person was living in a rented room for one and a half year
Police said that the body was found wearing women’s undergarments. Forensic team was also called on the spot. It was Vinod’s birthday. He is survived by two children and his wife. The deceased was living in a rented house for the last one and a half years. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The matter is under investigation.
The man had returned after meeting his family
Investigating officer Atma Ram told that the mobile of the deceased has been given to the cyber cell for investigation. He said that in this way a strange case of suspected suicide has come to the fore. Police said that Kumar had gone to Ferozepur to meet his family and returned to his residence in Ludhiana on Thursday (8th June) night. Family members are also being questioned.
