Agartala June 10: As a part of Bharatiya Janata Party’s month-long celebrations marking 9-years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Centre, MLA Ram Prasad Paul took part in public outreach program in Maheshkhala area under Surjyamaninagar assembly constituency here on Saturday.
Speaking to the reporters about the purpose of his visit, Paul said, “As per directions of the party senior functionaries, public representatives of all the assembly constituencies across the state are visiting several areas to reach out to the people with the report of 9 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in the Centre and 6 years of BJP government in the state”.
The MLA met several Lavarthis and beneficiaries of different state and central government schemes especially the poor and needy families in the area.
He said, “People are extremely happy and satisfied under the BJP regime and also with the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
“Ganesh Das, a local of the area informed that he has been provided pucca house under PMAY-scheme, toilet and he is also getting Rs 2 thousand social allowance that has eased his medicine cost every month”, he said.
The MLA further urged the locals and beneficiaries in the area to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls so that the state and nation as a whole can develop further.
Ram Prasad Paul also planted trees in presence of other party workers in the Booth No 13 area of Maheshkhala on Saturday.
Not only in Surjyamaninagar assembly constituency, but similar programs are carried out across the state by party representatives, MLAs, MPs and senior leaders.
